President of the Council of Europe, Charles Michel, called on the elected authorities of Georgia to take decisive action to ensure the integrity and transparency of upcoming elections.
Michel emphasized the importance of holding free and fair elections to strengthen democracy in the country. During talks with representatives of Georgian authorities, he also pointed out the necessity of adhering to all democratic principles and standards.
"Georgia must convince internal and international observers that elections are conducted in accordance with international standards. This is a key moment for maintaining trust in democratic institutions," - emphasized Charles Michel.
